Research is a very useful tool to help students independently search for knowledge. As one of our many teaching strategies used across subjects, students are trained to perform research right from the primary years, which trains them for the years ahead. Students conduct research on a variety of topics, in which they identify the measures taken in the past and the current programmes, document interviews on the topic, create portfolios to maintain all drafts of work, carry out a class discussion based on their findings, and suggest steps to tackle the problem and eliminate challenges. This approach promotes independence and lateral thinking among students.
We believe that learning should not be confined to the classroom. That's why we emphasise hands-on learning through real-world experiences such as field trips, projects and a variety of other activities. By applying knowledge in practical contexts, students develop a deeper understanding of the subject matter and gain valuable skills. Our lessons are designed to inspire creativity, curiosity and a love for learning. Students go for a variety of field trips and then apply what they have learned through activities like writing reports and discussions upon their return to the classroom.
We believe in the power of art-integrated learning to help students thrive. By incorporating art into our curriculum, we provide students with an opportunity to develop their creativity and critical thinking skills while exploring new ways to express themselves. Whether it's through drawing, painting, or other forms of art, our students gain a deeper understanding of the world around them and build confidence in their abilities. For example, students in Grade 1 are encouraged to talk about their favourite rooms after making an album about the different rooms in their homes, which not only integrates art into teaching the concept but also develops their speaking skills.
This teaching approach utilises games and game-like activities to facilitate learning. It involves presenting challenges that require students to develop strategies to solve problems. This approach makes the learning process more engaging, enjoyable and effective. Students tend to retain information better when it is presented to them in a fun and interactive way. In Mathematics, students are given a number puzzle to work on to help them better understand the concept of integers. Game based learning is a welcome break that helps pique students’ interest in different subjects. Students find out the angle of rotation and the order of rotational symmetry in math class by using cut-outs of equilateral and isosceles triangles.
We recognise that learners have different learning styles and preferences. That's why we offer blended learning programs that combine online and offline learning experiences. Learners can access a variety of resources, including multimedia content, interactive activities and collaborative projects, to personalise their learning journey. It provides flexibility and convenience while promoting self-directed learning and digital literacy. Students are asked to watch instructional videos to help them learn and practice grammar concepts at their own pace. The teacher then reinforces the topic in a class by means of discussions, group work or writing exercises and then provides opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in context. The combination of online and in-class activities enhances student engagement and understanding, leading to improved learning outcomes. Students can virtually visit museums like the British Museum in London to see Egyptian artefacts as part of their Social Studies lesson. After that, the teacher leads a discussion about ancient civilizations with the students, thus cementing their understanding on the topic.

Evaluation is an essential component to ensure learning has occurred. Our curriculum trains our students to self-evaluate their work, perform peer reviews, and also gives parents an in-depth understanding of their children’s educational journey through these 360-degree holistic progress cards.
Critical thinking, perseverance, information literacy, and creativity are some of the many 21st century skills that our students are equipped with. To hone these skills, classroom teaching as well as exercises for students have been specially designed at every learning stage that also ensure a spiralling of these skills as the student progresses in their education journey.

The objectives, guiding principles, practises, and learning outcomes outlined in the NEP are incorporated into our teaching methodology and pedagogy.
